Det fick mig att fundera på detta som apple skriver om bootcamp.
EFI and BIOS
Macs use an ultra-modern industry standard technology called EFI to handle booting. Sadly, Windows XP, and even Vista, are stuck in the 1980s with old-fashioned BIOS. But with Boot Camp, the Mac can operate smoothly in both centuries.
Så... vad händer med macens sätt att hantera ett andra operativ om vista får stöd för EFI? Borde det inte bli smidigare hantering kanske rentav möjligt att köra båda operativ samtidigt utan omstart? Jag slänger ut frågan till den som vet mer om hur sånt här funkar.. Det låter i alla fall som att SP1 för vista kommer att förändra saker till det bättre vad gäller kompatibilitet med leopard. Kanske leopard lagom till SP1 release får den spolade featuren "pausa gäst operativ" som man har hört talas om..
