Kanske opassande (men ändå inte) att ta diskussionen här -- men varför får man så fruktansvärt dåliga poäng på diskarna? Får 80 med disktestet och 140 utan det. Har en MBP 2,16GHz, 2GB och 7200rpm 100GB HDD. Det verkar som man får sämre med 7200-diskar också...

Har du en MPB är det ju en laptopdisk. De är långsammare än vanliga diskar.
Sedan är ju hårddisken oftast det långsammaste man har i datorn.

Ifall man vill ha höga poäng med diskar vore ett SCSI-RAID med 15.00RPM-diskar något att ha.

1.3 verkar ju inte ha löst problemet med "Beam", den stänger ju av det tillfälligt. Borde inte det innebära att Intel-macarna skulle prestera bättre om det hade stöd för "Beamfunktionen"?

Det är precis så det ska vara (avstängt) när man testar prestanda. Råprestanda som Xbench mäter den är inte samma sak som den prestanda som användaren upplever.

JA, jag har en. Testet är kört. Gick det fort nog?:

Visst har jag märkt att det inte är dåligt, och Radeon mobility 9700 har ett par år på nacken, men att det skulle vara så vansinnigt mycket bättre hade jag inte väntat mig.

När det gäller minneshanteringen fick G4:an råpisk på allt utom allokering, vilket var förvånande (alltså att G4:an var snabbare på något som hade med minne att göra).

Det är dock lite irriterande att de bytt baseline i Xbench, för på de resultat jag laddat upp tidigare och använder för jämförelsen ser det ut som om G4:an är snabbare. Tyvärr har jag ju inte kvar den så att göra en ny körning med 1.3 är inte möjligt.

Njo, men såvitt jag förstår är linjer, rektanglar och element ett mått på grafikchippets 2D-prestanda, och den har det inte varit några större klagomål på. De integrerade chippen kan ju spela upp HD-video utan problem.

Det är på 3D-grafik Intels nuvarande integrerade grafiklösningar inte hänger med.

Man laddar ner ett program; Xbench 1.3 som testar alla funktioner i datorn. Sedan kan man jämföra testresultaten och gotta sig åt sin nya maskin! Det är ungefär som att jämföra storleken på ..........:cool:
Man kan också se om nya processorer/hårddiskar/grafikkort/minnen som man köper, verkligen gör nytta.:D
