hehe...

beta-version av matlab känns ganska läskigt med tanke på hur stabila deras 'skarpa' släpp brukar vara.

Det positiva ar ju att den ar pa gang. Men man far nog kora Bootcamp/parallels ett tag till. Se test nedan

Bad notice : it is really slow........

I ran a function which solves 1000 problems with a branch and bound
algorithm I am studying. The function uses quadprog() and linprog()
MatLab routines of the optimization toolbox.

Here are the results (same problems solved in the tree tests, I have
a MacPro with 2 Xeon dual core 2.66GHz and 2Gb RAM):

Windows XP - DualBoot - MatLab 2006a : 13.4 minutes (CPU time)

Windows XP - Parallels VM - MatLab 2006a : 30.3 minutes (CPU time)

MacOSX - MatLab 2006b_beta : 48.8 minutes (CPU time)"
